About Mary
Mary grew up in Lisle, later moving around the country for school and work, but when she and her husband Jon became parents, they knew Naperville was where they wanted to raise their family. They moved to Naperville in 2014 and have loved raising their three young children in America’s best city to raise a family!
She has a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Dayton, a M.A. in Social Science from the University of Chicago, a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics, and a certificate in Civic Leadership from Northern Illinois University.
Mary worked as a director at a data analytics firm where she advised Fortune 500 companies, government entities, and non-profits on public sentiment, unforeseen risks and strategic opportunities. After being a working parent for a while, she decided to pause her career to stay home with her growing family. She is very involved in her community, currently serving as the elected President of the Naperville Park District. She is an avid reader, a crochet enthusiast, a huge Office fan, and along with her girls, a huge Swiftie.
Mary is a lifelong learner who never turns down an opportunity to learn more about her community, and all of the amazing people and organizations that make Naperville such a great place to live.
